“North Dakota is a stunning place to explore, especially when the radiant sunflowers are in full bloom. It’s something different to be able to visit sunflower fields on family farms, but you can do that on the Sunflower Trail. You can even snack on sunflower seeds that you can pick up at these farms on your route,” said Darley Newman. “I really enjoyed meeting so many passionate locals and small business owners who shared North Dakota’s culture, agricultural roots and history.”
