No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win these sweepstakes. A purchase or payment will not increase or improve chances of winning.
Eligibility
North Dakota Department of Commerce sweepstakes are open to permanent legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and the 10 Canadian provinces who, as of the entry date, are at least 18 years old. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the authorized account holder of the phone number and/or email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Potential winners may be required to show proof of eligibility.
Timing
The online sweepstakes starts Monday, April 27, 2026.

Prizes
- The sweepstakes will consist of a $50 Visa Gift Card and Hello ND tumbler.
- There will be no cash or substitutions of prize.
- Mailing/shipping costs will be the responsibility of North Dakota Department of Commerce.
- Winner will be solely responsible for any other unspecified costs associated with prize acceptance/use.
Drawing; Odds; Notification
- Following the close of the sweepstakes period, North Dakota Department of Commerce will randomly select three (30 potential winners from the submission pool.
- Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- The entrant selected must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
- All winners will be contacted via the contact information entered by entrant.
- Upon request, North Dakota Department of Commerce will provide a list of winner(s) name(s) from each of its contests or sweepstakes.
Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to North Dakota Department of Commerce’s use of winner’s name, hometown, photographs and statements for promotional purposes, only if the entrant provided such consent within the survey, in any manner or media (including, without limitation, online) in perpetuity and without further payment, consideration, notice, review or consent.
Conditions
- Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes if, in sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if viruses, bugs, technical difficulties or any other factor beyond reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness and integrity.
- Winner will have five (5) business days to confirm their prize and verify compliance with contest rules. Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim a prize (without compensation of any kind) and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received.
- Any taxes (including income, local, state and federal) and fees associated with acceptance of prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Allow three weeks for delivery.

North Dakota Department of Commerce, State of North Dakota and sweepstakes partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective employees, are forever and irrevocably held harmless against all claims, damages or liabilities arising in whole, or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation and/or entry in the sweepstakes and/or entrant’s award, receipt or use of any prize awarded in the contest.
