Go out for a night on the town with great options for fine dining with lakeside views or in a barn that has been converted into a fine steakhouse. Visit downtown coffee and espresso shops or the new craft brewery. Enjoy annual events including the Ribfest, Wine Walk, summer rock music, and Cabela's National Team Championship/Master Walleye Tournament. More nightlife is just seven miles south at Spirit Lake Casino and Resort with national entertainers and high-stakes gaming. Take in a challenging round of golf at the 18-hole, lakeside course, where you can also rent kayaks for exploring the big lake. The city has 14.4 miles of bike/pedestrian paths. You’ll also find excellent hiking at Grahams Island State Park and White Horse Hill National Game Preserve.
